Middle School Overview
Building Strong Foundations for Lifelong Success
At Braselton Christian Academy, our Middle School program is intentionally designed to support students during one of the most critical stages of their academic and personal development. These formative years are when confidence is built, learning habits are solidified, and students begin to understand who they are and how they learn best.
Our middle school provides a structured, nurturing environment where academic rigor meets individualized support—preparing students for high school, post-secondary success, and purposeful lives.
Why Middle School at BCA?
Middle school is more than a transition—it’s a turning point. At Braselton Christian Academy, we recognize that students in grades 6–8 need targeted instruction, emotional support, and strong mentorship as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
English Language Arts
Using a literature-based approach, students analyze texts and build writing skills progressively—from sentence structure to multi-paragraph compositions. Instruction integrates themes across history, science, and faith while promoting critical thinking and clear communication.
History
Middle school history follows a rotating sequence that explores world civilizations and American history. Students examine major cultural, political, and social developments while learning to think critically about historical events and their impact on today’s world.
Science
Aligned with Next Generation Science Standards, students engage in inquiry-based, hands-on learning across physical science, life science, ecology, and introductory engineering concepts.
Math
Our math program meets students where they are. Instruction ranges from foundational skill-building to advanced coursework. Students may focus on numeracy and conceptual understanding or progress toward accelerated math pathways, including Algebra readiness. Real-world problem solving is emphasized throughout.
Electives
Students choose from a range of electives in technology, innovation, and the arts, such as art, music, coding, robotics, 3D printing, and culinary arts—encouraging exploration and creativity.
Physical Education
Daily physical activity supports student health, focus, and overall well-being.
