Support Services at Braselton Christian Academy


In addition to Braselton Christian Academy’s comprehensive academic program, we offer specialized support services for students who benefit from additional intervention or individualized assistance. Our approach is student-centered, strengths-based, and designed to support academic achievement, emotional wellness, and personal growth.

Our classrooms offer a structured, supportive environment where high academic standards meet individualized instruction, ensuring every child is challenged and supported at their level.

Counseling Services (Licensed Providers) focus on:

Anxiety and Depression
Empathy, Judgment, and Perspective-Taking

Fees for these services are separate from tuition and vary based on student needs and service intensity.

Braselton Christian Academy Support Program

Our support program integrates embedded classroom accommodations, structured support classes, and therapeutic services, with individualized plans developed to meet each student’s academic, emotional, and developmental needs.

Embedded Classroom Accommodations

All classrooms include:

Scaffolded instruction
Repetition and rephrasing
Extended processing time
Graphic organizers
Predictable routines

Students are also guided in developing self-advocacy skills, including requesting:

Teacher-provided notes
Separate or quiet testing environments
Reading assistance when appropriate
These skills prepare students for success in higher education, the workplace, and beyond.

Support Classes (Credit & Non-Credit)

Structured Literacy (Grades 7–9)Targeted literacy instruction focusing on phonemic awareness, decoding, spelling, fluency, and comprehension using evidence-based practices, including Orton-Gillingham principles.

Focused Skill Building (Grades 7–8)Personalized instruction supporting vocabulary, reading, writing, math foundations, cognitive processing, study skills, and executive functioning.

Math Intervention (Grades 7–8)Builds numeracy foundations, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving skills to prepare students for high school Algebra.

Strategies for Success (Grades 10–12)Daily support emphasizing planning, organization, time management, and task prioritization while fostering independence and accountability.
